Skills shortage in Technology

We have a shortfall of 300,000 skilled information and communication technology personnel in Europe and things are getting worse. Forecasters are predicting if the shortages are not addressed then it could harm the economy.

Since only 20 % of the European Union's IT workforce is women Viviane Reding The European Union's information society commissioner is determined to try to get women on the IT ladder and change it's geeky image.
